It's a satisfying game if you wish to be relieved of the bad-tempered world around you. There will be gossip and tragedies, people will move out and argue. The workers and employees love their jobs and promote hard work. Your neighbors can inspire participating in events and trying new things. It shows that being mean can really set someone off, and it's not good to do. Positive messages come from the fact that you should be social and make friends with more than just your neighbors. The rebirth of the popular simulation game, and the additions are quite appealing! It can help kids manage and save money and discover bugs and fish and flowers. Especially the currency,Bells, which players use to pay off mortgages and pay for furniture, clothes, and other cool things. One thing parents should be concerned about is the online mode, which requires you to exchange friend codes, and sometimes people,at their own risk, trade friend codes with strangers online. In the online mode, you can chat, which could expose children to inappropriate talk.Other than that,it's a great life simulation that should help children save money for cool things they want. But one last thing,if you don't play for a while, animals might move away or weeds might grow. When you begin, you are a new citizen of a town(which you get to name)full of animals, like cats, mice, squirrels, birds, and frogs. They all are very kind to you and even like to play.It has a real time feel to it.There are events that happen on certain days of the year.Like a Flea Market and several festivals. This should keep kids busy.Though, there is a lot of words, which may make the game hard for little ones to play. LEARNING: catch bugs and fish, and learn cool facts about them from blathers, the museum owl. Safety and privacy: Online play, hackers can hack you. Language: Jerk, idiot, dipwad, stupid, oh and anyone can swear on the chat.Ĭonsumerism: Part of a series, other video games are mentioned in the game. And, There are a few dangerous bugs like the scorpion that can bite you, and you will faint dramatically. Violence: If you don't save, a mole named Resetti will come and give a nasty talk. Positive message: Most characters are nice and help you, you can learn a lot about life. Click "helped me decide" If you still play AC:CF. :) It's also kinda hard for little kids to play. Soon 3ds animal crossing is coming soon so i'm just playing this for now. Also you can do online play, and players can swear, there's no filter like on the ds game. And there's a mole that comes if you forget to save the game. It gets kinda boring after a while, though. You can decorate your house, catch fish and bugs, design patterns, talk to the animals, go to the city, shopping, etc. I Love this game, it's so cool! You are a kid who moves out of home and lives in a animal village. I have nothing to object to this wonderful game! Just like the review title says, I think it's just as great as Sesame Street can be for kids! Has plenty of positive messages, great role models, and lots and lots of "worry free" content. And there are really no set rules, just the work from Tom Nook at first (Parents: Please get your children through this level) and "saving" the game (Parents: this is also something you should help with) and that's it! Now Animal Crossing, this game is a perfect pick for preschoolers and young children wanting to play "big games" on the Wii. Even the V.Smile system is hard for kids of these ages. Pooh, SpongeBob, and even Dora games for bigger systems like this may look exciting to the preschool audience, but they all have a set of rules and certain things you have to do in order to play, and that might be too hard for 3 and 4 year olds to do. Now we can all agree, what's not to love about Winnie the Pooh? It's still my favorite cartoon to this very day. I own a Gamecube myself and have seen, played and own a bunch of kids games, including the original Animal Crossing and Winnie the Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure. I also have a 3 year-old great cousin (Who's more like the sister I never had as a young child) and she has been watching me play this and sometimes, she even gets to play!! I've been playing this game since I was about 8. Keeping Kids Motivated for Online Learning.
